Morning: Would have slept a few more hours but my son and husband woke me up 🙂 I helped Alex with dressing Levi and we left for kindergarten/work. Drank a smoothie of spirulina, chlorella, spinach and some other good greens and then a coffee. Work + learning new stuff.
Noon: Had food from home, yummy stewed vegetables made by my mother in law plus two tomatoes bought from the farmer’s market. (Forgot to take my reusable bag with me and ended with a plastic one that I plan to re-use) Listened to a 10 minutes meditation during my lunch break.
Listened to this wonderful video from Marissa Peer on How To Free Yourself From The Fear Of Judgement And Start Living Life
Evening: Alex picked me up from work because it was raining. He broke a tire today so they will be 150 euros less on the budget this month. 😐
Ate schnitzels with salad.
We are doing a parenting course by a very cool lady Urania Cremene and try to implement new improvements every day. We both agreed that the maximum amount of time the TV should be on over the course of a full day should be 40 minutes. Also that we’ll all leave the dinner table only when everybody has finished (so far we were kind of eating in turns while one of us tried to convince Levi to eat – quite a pain). So far so good. Levi is complaining that he’s not allowed to leave the chair until he’s done, but he seems to be adjusting well. Also adjusting well to finding things to do that don’t require a screen.
Played and ran through the apartment with him, then we all went to sleep.
Bottom line for the day:
What I did in terms of travel: We’ll leave for Tirana, Albania in 2 days so this weekend is covered.
What I did in terms of becoming a better parent: This one went well. Started applying new rules that makes our life better as a family.
What I did in terms of finding meaning: I did meditate for 10 minutes today, which is something I haven’t done in a long time. Felt good to tune into a higher frequency.
